Say It, Don’t Say It

Everybody can recite the four values of the Agile Manifesto. Ask somebody to explain what working software over comprehensive documentation actually means on their team, and the room goes quiet. This makes them explain it — one word at a time, to their own team-mates, against a thirty-second clock, without saying the word on the card.

The room itself needs JavaScript, which appears to be switched off. What the game is, how a turn goes, and the full deck are written out without it — and the deck works just as well printed and cut into cards, with a kitchen timer for the clock and a coin for the spinner.
